Nicolas Maigre

I have been an Engagement Manager at Capgemini since 2020 and have led more than 40 projects for the defence sector, covering application development, cybersecurity and web. I take each project from pre-sales to delivery and I am accountable for the client, the budget, the contract and the teams, often on several projects at once.

I also act as Security Officer there. As a reserve Lieutenant in the French Army, deployed for three months on an overseas operation, I bridge two cultures: the protection requirements of the armed forces and the delivery constraints of a digital services company.

My background is deliberately varied: a technical degree in electrical engineering and computing, business school, a year as a communications officer in the French Army, then B2B sales at JCDecaux. It gave me a way of working that has stayed with me: understand the client's business, talk technology with the teams and report plainly to decision-makers.
